Yale News features research into the materials and techniques of an ancient Roman shield

Yale News features the collaborative research project on the materials and techniques used in the creation of a painted Roman shield in the collection of the Yale University Art Gallery (YUAG) that dates to the mid-third century C.E.  The work is jointly carried out by YUAG conservators Anne Turner Gunnison and Irma Passeri and IPCH conservation scientist Erin Mysak.
