Mohammad Reza Vaziri Sereshk, Ph.D.
Dr. Mohammad Reza Vaziri Sereshk received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology. He was formerly a faculty member in University of Tehran. He joined Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage in 2016 to work in the Sustainable Conservation Lab (SCL) as a Postdoctoral Associate. His main research interest is damage (ductile tearing/brittle fracture) of materials. He is currently working on the craquelure pattern formation in paint layer and its stabilization. The research he is implementing will inform a design of a new and sustainable strategies for climate control in museums and galleries.
