Dr. Pablo Londero joins IPCH from the Metropolitan Museum of Art

Dr. Pablo Londero is IPCH’s newest associate conservation scientist. He joins IPCH from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York City, where, from 2011 - 2014, he worked as a Research Associate. His specialty there was surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). His research at IPCH will focus on the identification and degradation of pigments and dyes. Dr. Londero received a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Rochester and has a background in nonlinear optics and a variety of atomic and molecular spectroscopy techniques.
