Rachel Heyse
Rachel Heyse is the laboratory assistant supporting the work of the Shared Conservation, Lens Media, Technical Studies, Aging Diagnostics, and Digitization laboratories at IPCH. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Art History from Southern Connecticut State University, where she also worked as the department’s administrative assistant. Rachel contributed to several field seasons with the Gona Paleoanthropological Research Project and helped manage the project’s collection of fossils and artifacts at the National Museum of Ethiopia. With over a decade of experience in the manufacturing sector, Rachel brings a diverse set of skills from her previous positions in chemistry, biology, and quality control laboratories, as well as quality assurance and cleanroom environmental monitoring roles.
