Faith M. Anderson is Director of Liberty Hall: The Legacy of Marcus Garvey in Kingston, Jamaica, within the Institute of Jamaica, where she leads educational, cultural, research, and heritage programmes dedicated to preserving and interpreting the life and legacy of the Rt. Excellent Marcus Mosiah Garvey. Through her work, she has led institutional modernization initiatives that strengthened Liberty Hall’s operations and has established a research unit focused on advancing scholarship on Garveyism, Pan-Africanism, and African Diaspora heritage. Previously, she contributed research and analytical support to national planning and cultural governance initiatives, including Jamaica’s National Spatial Plan and the National Policy for Culture, Entertainment and the Creative Economy. Her work focuses on museum interpretation, heritage preservation, and public engagement, advancing scholarship and cultural dialogue around Jamaica’s cultural heritage.
