Riley is a rising junior at Amherst College, double majoring in Anthropology and Art History, and she hopes to attend graduate school in the field of Art Conservation. She is at IPCH as a 2026 summer intern supervised by Jiuan Jiuan Chen, IPCH’s Director of Conservation Imaging. Her internship focuses on documenting a set of three hundred photo paper samples from the Lens Media Collection using UVA-induced visible luminescence and visible-induced IR luminescence imaging, and on analyzing the results in collaboration with IPCH AI Scientist Damon Crockett and former LML Director Paul Messier.
