Riley is a Postgraduate Associate in Museum Collections Assessment and Materials Analysis working with the Yale Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage and the Yale Peabody Museum. She recently earned her MS in Art Conservation with a specialization in Objects Conservation from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation. Riley also holds a BA in Art Conservation and Anthropology from the University of Delaware and a Certificate in Native American Art History from Institute of American Indian Arts. Her previous work experience includes conservation internships at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, the Arizona State Museum, and the National Museum of the American Indian.
