Wandile Mabaso is Founder and Executive Chef of Les Créatifs Restaurant in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he leads a culinary and cultural space dedicated to celebrating African food traditions through contemporary dining and artistic collaboration. Through his work, he has elevated South Africa’s culinary heritage by combining traditional African flavors with classical French techniques and has created a platform for cultural expression by showcasing the work of emerging South African artists alongside innovative dining experiences. Previously, he trained and worked in Michelin-starred kitchens across Europe and the United States, including Le Meurice Alain Ducasse in Paris, where he contributed to the team’s two Michelin stars.
